I am getting 2.42-2.43 digital caliper measurement on hub ID - assume the 2441 is the most likely correct fit?

Yes, based on the measurements you took of your hub bore diameter the correct Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors is the part # BB2441 or # BB2441T-SS for the stainless steel model that will resist any corrosion.
