In order to use the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Baskets on your 2006 Dodge Sprinter you will need the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Yakima Roof Racks part # SPS5084-Y400 which mounts using the Yakima Round CrossBar System part # Y00101 and part # Y00411. This is the longest available roof basket we have for your Sprinter.

I checked with Surco and they do not list any of the Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Baskets for Factory Rails like part # SPS5084-1101 for your Sprinter which is why you will need the above.
