Is Disengaging and Engaging Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Easy

Question:

Can this system be easily disengaged when towing an empty trailer? I have a light trailer of 500 lbs but when fully loaded it is 2,500 lbs. Itd be nice to drive hours to a destination with the WDH disengaged, load up the trailer, engage the hitch, and head back home in weight distribution mode.

Basically you'd have to just remove the spring bars of the Fastway e2 kit part # FA92-00-0450 to disengage it which would not be overly difficult at all. They have to be removed/installed everytime the trailer is used anyway so you'd just be delaying installing the bars until the trailer is loaded.
