I’m thinking of getting this hitch and then using the oem wiring harness. This will allow me to turn off the rear back up sensors while in use. My question is is there a place to mount the vehicle harness outlet on the hitch?

In order to mount a trailer connector onto the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7265 you can use the Eclipse Magnetic Mounting Bracket part # 306-X6019 if you have a 4-way trailer connector or the Eclipse Magnetic Mounting Bracket part # 306-X6020 if you have a 7-way trailer connector.
This will provide you with a secure option to mount your trailer connector and you will not have to do any drilling into the hitch or vehicle for this because the mounts are magnetic.
