Are Special Connectors Needed to Install Transmission Cooler on a 2016 Ford Explorer XLT

Question:
I am interested in this transmission cooler and would like to install it on my 2016 Ford Explorer XLT. Do you know if I need any special connectors besides what comes with the cooler to install this? I am ordering the special tool to remove the existing cooler line from the radiator. Thanks for your help.

The Class III Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit # D13503 is an excellent choice for your 2016 Ford Explorer XLT and you shouldn't need any additional connectors for them to fit together.
Please note that you need to make sure you have the proper amount of space in your engine compartment for this to fit. I am attaching a dimensional photo for you to check out as well as a sample installation on a 2001 Explorer.
