Are There Torque Specs for Assembling the CE Smith Boat Trailer

Question:
Do you or CE Smith have any recommendations with respect to fastener torques, especially for the fasteners that do not span a frame rail section? The only torque specification pertains to the lug nuts.

I do have some advice for you but CE Smith does not provide any torque values for the CE Smith Boat Trailer part # CE48810 save for the lug nuts as you mentioned. The torque sequence as laid out in the attached instructions will be far more important than a specific value. That said, most of the hardware included with the trailer consists of nyloc nuts. The correct process to tighten a nyloc nut will be to turn the bolt until you will see the end of it come through the nut. I really wish I could provide an exact value but it does not need to be that precise.
