Question:
I have a Mercedes sprinter RV. I am putting a motorcycle rack on back and want to extend the receiver hitch out by about 12 inches and raise it up so it does not drag on ground on inclines.

I do have some options for you but what you need to keep in mind is that hitch adapters reduce your tongue weight capacity. If you are only trying to carry a small dirt bike then I think we can get away with an (up and out) hitch adapter but if you have anything much heavier you are just going to need to place it on a trailer because it's just not safe to place that much weight on the back of a hitch with an adapter like the above.
The best options we have for a small motorcycle are going to depend on how much of a rise you need. The taller you go up the less you will be able to go out and none will get you to 12". Also, you will be limited to 400 lbs for the motorcycle and motorcycle carrier. I have attached these options below:
Roadmaster High-Low Adapter (2" Up & 10" Out) - part # RM-072-2
Roadmaster High-Low Adapter (4" Up & 9-5/8" Out) - part # RM-048-4
Roadmaster High-Low Adapter (6" Up & 9-1/2" Out) - part # RM-048-6
