Solution for MaxxAir MaxxFan that Clicks and Fan Won't Shut Off

Question:

I have a fan that when it closes, it just keeps on going. it makes a clicking sound until it I raise it back up in order to stop it. I have to get something to stand on and manually crank it down. thanks,

Sounds like your roof vent lid isn't closing all the way when you ask it to which is why the fan isn't shutting off and also explains the clicking of the operator as it's trying to close it. In the past we've seen similar issues to this turn out to be fixed by replacing the operator with the part # MA10-20281K-1AF which is correct operator for your MaxxAir MaxxFan.
