The best method to identify the tonneau cover on your 2008 GMC Sierra will be to look for the date code and or serial number. The serial number is located on the driver's side of the front header on the TruXport frame. The date code is printed on the underside of your original tarp. I have attached a photo of this for you.

If you have the TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover part # TX571101 which was one of the most popular tonneau covers for this vehicle, the date code should start with "5711" and if that is the case then the Replacement Cover for TruXedo Lo Pro QT Soft, Roll-up Tonneau Cover part # TX571101-CVR is what you will want to use.
