Does it need to be tabled and a license plate and does it come with a title like a car

In most states a tow dolly like the Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes part # DM9713045 does not need to be licensed and tagged, but many require that the tow dolly be titled and registered. The towed vehicle however must be licensed as its wheels come into contact with the road. Each state's department of motor vehicles (DMV) addresses tow dolly license requirements therefore this is where you will need to check for exact answers.

The Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes does come with a manufacturers statement of origin (MSO) which is just like a title and what you will use to register the tow dolly with the state if required.

Conner, I have talked to the Demco product support team in the past and was told that the there should have been a statement of origin. My Demco Kar Kaddy SS didn't have one when I bought it from the previous owner. Do you suppose Demco could send me another one if I confirm the vin number on the unit? Thanks

@John The Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes part # DM9713045 has all that info on the bumper. If you can't find any of that, I recommend reaching out to Demco directly at the link I provided in the comment above to see if they can help you identify it.
