Question:

I saw a similar question regarding reducing sway for a Swagman XC-2 bike carrier for a Curt receiver. I have a UHaul 2” receiver. Will the Curt support straps work? Thanks!

Yes, the Curt Support straps part # 18050 are a good option to prevent the Swagman XC-2 bike carrier part # S64670 from swaying as much.

I also recommend to add a Roadmaster Quiet Hitch anti-rattle accessory to the hitch part # RM-061. This anti-rattle is designed to tighten up the space between the bike rack shank and the hitch receiver to eliminate rattling and wobble. You may not need the stabilization straps if you use the anti-rattle device it usually takes care of the wobble issue.
