There is a way for you to carry bikes with a trailer hitch on your 2016 Keystone Springdale 270LE, though based on my research it does have a square bumper, so you would need either the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch # E-100 if the bumper is 4" x 4" square or the Buyers Products RV Bumper Receiver Hitch # 337RVA24 if your bumper is 4-1/2" x 4".

The reason you need one of those instead of something like the Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames # UF35-946403 is because of how recessed the hitch would be and carrying any accessories would be nearly impossible because they would need to be able to clear however much room there is from the receiver to the edge of the frame, then the bumper, and then the spare tire. Even if the spare tire wasn't there that is too long a distance, particularly because you should not use any type of hitch adapter.

If you are set on not using the bumper to haul bikes there is the option of the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 which mounts to your A-frame.

No matter if you go with the hitch or Bike Bunk you will need a bike rack that is rated for use behind a trailer and fits a 2" receiver. For this I strongly recommend the Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack # Y02476 for a 4-bike rack because it is a lightweight rack but sturdy enough to transport large bikes. You will need Yakima Tube Top Bike Adapter Bar # Y02531 as well if you are going to be carrying bikes with an alternative frame or a child's bike.

Additionally, if you use the Curt Hitch # E-100 you will need the Stabilizing Strap # 18050 with all accessories in order to maintain the warranty on the hitch.

I've added links to video reviews of the bike rack, hitches and strap for you to check out.
