The Replacement Ball and Plate Assembly for Husky Sway Control System # HT34842 should be centered on your trailer frame in most situations. You simply want to make sure the hitch ball height on your coupler and this sway control ball are close to aligned with each other. The friction bar will have some adjustment so it doesn't have to be perfectly aligned for the bar to work as it have pivots at it's attachments.

Each friction bar will give you the location for how far back from the coupler the ball should be mounted for turning clearances. Your Husky bar will be 24 inches from the center of the coupler to the center of the hitch ball for the friction bar. I've attached the installation location for other bars we carry to assist since we don't have a Husky bar but they operate in the same way and install the same way.
