Question:

Does blue ox recommend lubricating the tension bars on their weight distribution system...i.e. Where the bars pivot against brackets mounted to the trailers neck

It is not recommended to lubricate where the trunnion bars rub on the brackets that are mounted to the trailer frame. Especially if you have a weight distribution with sway control. The brackets create friction between the bars and brackets when the trailer wants to move off center. That friction is what provides the anti-sway feature which typically happens when you are turning or hitting a bump. I know it can be loud and sounds like it is going to come apart but I assure you that it is supposed to do that.
