just want to know that this product is specially made for above noted make and model and how difficult it is to install. can i see installation video

I verified with Pop and Lock and the tail gate lock # PAL1700C is a fit for a 2011 GMC Canyon. We have not yet had the opportunity to install the lock on a vehicle so I do not have an installation video I can link you to. Installation is not difficult. There are only a few steps from beginning to end as you can see in the image I have linked.
