On your model Atwood Water Heater GC6AA-10E the electric heating element is located in the water tank in the back side of the water heater. The heater will have to be pull out of the RV to replace the unit. For a replacement you'd want # CAM02103.
Atwood recommends having an RV repair shop do the repair because of the in-depth labor involved in replacing the element.
