Question:
Jason S. answered a question for me earlier. Here is one more for the team.My gutter mounts are fine except for one thing. when I place the 1x1inch bar in the mounts and try to secure them with the screw the nut keeps turning and does not allow for tightening.. was there some kind of holding nut ring, if you will, to keep the nut from turning under the bar? Was the nut welded on or did I loose some small retainer after 40 years? sounds like I may have to become inventive. Thank-you for your time............

The Thule Rapid Gutter Feet for AeroBlade Crossbars are compatible with your 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4 door) hard top. The feet need to be 20 inches apart on center. You can see in the attached photo that the front rail can be centered above the front doors if desired. The max capacity for this system is 165 lbs. If you don't already have crossbars, the 60 inch Wingbar Evo # TH711520 is a great option. You can also add locks to secure your rack using # TH450400.
These locks will also work with the discontinued Thule Gutter feet TH300 and square load bar.
If you don't already have Kayak carriers, I recommend the etrailer.com J-Style Kayak Carrier - Folding - Universal Mount # E98878 for each kayak. I've attached a video to assist.
