Features to know about

Built for Rough Roads: 1/2" Thick Heavy-Duty Shackles Hold Strong

Stock shackles can stretch or wear when the miles add up. This kit swaps them out for 1/2" thick shackles that stand up to heavy use. The stronger plates keep the suspension tight and steady so the bracket doesn’t elongate or fail under stress. It’s a solid way to add strength and confidence when towing over rough or uneven roads.

Durability That Lasts: Bronze Bushings Stay Smooth Longer

Worn nylon bushings are a common weak spot in factory setups. The bronze bushings in this kit handle movement and load without deforming, which means less wear and fewer squeaks. They keep the suspension working smoothly so you get consistent performance mile after mile.

Easy Upkeep for Long Life: Greaseable Bolts Simplify Maintenance

Keeping your suspension quiet and flexible shouldn’t be a chore. The greaseable wet bolts in this kit make it easy to keep everything lubricated with a standard grease gun. Regular greasing lets the bolts and bushings last longer and keeps the suspension moving as it should.

Complete Setup for a Solid Upgrade: Shackle Straps, Bushings, and Hardware Included

Everything you need is in the box—shackle straps, bronze bushings, greaseable bolts, locknuts, and shear spring bracket assemblies. It’s a straightforward swap that replaces worn or undersized parts with heavy-duty components built for triple-axle trailers with MORryde LRE leaf spring suspensions. Once installed, the suspension feels tighter, quieter, and ready for the miles ahead.

Video Transcript for Review of MORryde Trailer Suspension Parts - Shackle Upgrade Kit - MR89ZR

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the MORryde shackle upgrade kit for triple axle trailers with the LRE leaf spring suspensions. So folks, with this kit, you're going to upgrade the shackle straps, the bolts, the bushings on that RV suspension system. Now, you're going to get 1/2-inch thick shackles. They're going to be super strong and a lot stronger and durable than your stock ones. The bronze bushings here are going to be very nice.

They're going to increase durability and longevity. You have shackle strips I just mentioned. You've got bushings, bolts, lock nuts, and shear spring bracket assemblies. They're all included here. Everything as far as the bolts are greasable.

Some people call them wet bolts. And even the individual ones here all have the grease circle on them to make easy maintenance. You get all your hardware as well. So again, this fits the triple axle trailers with the MORryde LRE leaf spring suspensions. Folks, that's going to wrap it up for our quick look together.

I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

A must have along the cre3000 equalizers, these are a direct fit replacement. Use the measurement chart, and you can’t go wrong. Built quality is far superior. Actual bronze bushings instead of the plastic OEM ones. Can’t say the trailer feels like it tows any differently, but I’m pretty happy with the results.

This kit is how travel trailer suspension should come from the factory. I haven't yet pulled my travel trailer with the new shackle straps, wet bolts and bushings but I truly believe that I was getting a little bit of trailer sway from the links that came on my 2021 Gulfstream that only has 2150 miles on it. I really just wanted the wet bolts and bushings to get rid of the dreadful squeaking. However, I cannot recommend these shackle straps enough also. All parts are exceptional quality. And to give my statements a little more weight, I'll add that I have over 30 years as a machinist. I'm very, very happy with this purchase.

Awesome help from etrailer to ensure I got the correct complete set. Took months to get around to installing just due to winter, cold and rain. But when we got to it everything was a great fit and made the job so much easier start to finish 4 hours including coffee break.

With my Keystone Fuzion 414 reaching its 10th birthday and suffereing a broken spring shakle, I was on notice to make things right. I ordered the wetbolt kit with upgraded spring shackes and performed the upgrade myself. I couldn't be happier with the components, etrailers sales support, and the quality of the entire process. If you are handy with tools and can take your time, you can do it yourself.

by:

wasn't too bad to install, much better setup and given that my trailer is barely a year old and really not a lot of miles, the plastic bushings were already wearing out... worth considering for anyone.

by:

Make sure your suspension is in top working order and keep them lub’ed. Perfect replacement parts, thanks E Trailer!

by:

Installation was pretty straight forward. My travel trailer pulls better and feels smoother going down the road.

by:

Heavy duty shackles, installed in a few hours.
Make sure you measure all of the bolts, the bolts supplied for the end of the spring (not the shackle bolts) were to short for my camper.

by:

Great upgrade to stock shackles and bolts. The grease from the wet bolts also quiets down all the noise from the stock plastic bushings.

by:

My PJ trailer with 3500lb axles had 3.5" center eye to center eye shackle straps and phone support said 3 1/8" would work. Assembled fine and have had no issues.

by:

I installed these along with cushioned equalizer and shocks on my 37' 5th wheel. I have less fear of the cabinets falling off the wall on the great interstate road system!
I should have done this a long time ago.

by:

Our RV tows and rides so much better since installing this suspension!
There is no longer any porpoising while towing and I have no worries of ever wearing out the shackles.

by:

After pulling the travel trailer over some very rough roads, when entering the trailer I found no doors or drawers opened and nothing out of place. The ride was much smoother and the trailer seemed to track better behind the tow vehicle.

by:

Rear spring hangers broke off of my triple axle toy hauler. Repared/upgraded hangers with thicker hangers and Vee braces. One of the equalizers was also broken. Researched options, found the Moryde system best fit my needs. Also installed upgraded wet bolts and shackles. Really straight forward install. Would strongly recommend the use of heavy-duty ratchet straps to aid in moving axles back into position. Did it as a one person job.

by:

Great product even after 1 year. I grease the wet bolts a couple times a year with ease!

by:

They are better than original. They have bronze bushings instead of oem plastic and they are greaseable. The most important part to me is that I was able to call etrailer and tell them about my need for these with the Road Armor and they were able to tell me which set to get. This modification allows me to pull the trailer safely and without issue down the road.

by:

Bought this kit when I was replacing a broken leaf spring on my tiple axle toy hauler. It's an exact match to the OEM suspension.

by:

The installation went well. It took me about one hour and twenty minutes to install the MORryde CRE3000 and the shackle kit on one side because I was cautious, making sure I installed it correctly. The other side went much faster, completing it in about 30 minutes. I am looking forward to seeing how the camper responds to rough roads.

by:

I replaced my shackles on my tripple axle trailer with heavy-duty ones from e trailer, while I was at it I replaced all the equalizers and added wet bolts and brass bushings. I had never done work on a trailer Suspension before but with the help on e trailer I got it done. I no longer have my shackles flipping over and my boat trailer pulls like a dream. E trailer is great to work with and very helpful. I will definitely use them again when the time comes

by:

Bought these to replace existing shackle straps on my travel trailer that had warn dangerously low. These shackles were twice as thick as what was on the trailer at delivery. Very easy to install (save some time and make sure the ground is level) and don’t forget to grease!

by:

This was a great upgrade to the OEM suspension components on y travel trailer. The trailer is only 18-months-old, but as you can see in the video, the original suspension was completely shot after about 20,000 miles.
The kit replaces the OEM nylon bushings with bronze, and more important, contains wet bolts with zerk fittings. The shackles are much more heavy-duty than the originals. The kit was easy to install in an afternoon.

by:

I always wanted to replace the stock shackles with this MORyde kit. Fit as expected and am looking for a long life out of the new shackles.

by:

Everything was as listed and packing was done really well. I did have leftover bushings as the MORryde pieces have the bushings already pressed in. Seems like there was a waste of parts as you cannot use these bushings to replace the ones installed in the MORryde kit.

by:

There's really no comparison as to how much better this shackle kit is. The original plastic bushings were totally disintegrated. Took the 5th wheel for a test drive after installing these and now with the wet bolts installed the suspension is 90% quieter when negotiating my serpentine driveway!

My 2019 Coachman Freedom Express Liberty 320BHDS was chewing the inside treads of tires regardless of rotations. Thanks to Kyle B and Daylon H, your team quickly diagnosed the issue and recommended this suspension upgrade including new 6000lb leaf springs, u-bolts, equalizer and the MORyde wetbolt hardware kit. Installation took the better part of a weekend, but was a complete success. Be mindful of the torque specs and ensuring your RV is properly supported (including axles). Thanks to some recently cut stumps, I was able to support boths sides of the axles to safely torque bolts to 80lbs. RV rides about 1.5 inches higher, but nice and smooth. No noticeable camber with the tires now. Time will tell, but sincere thanks to Kyle and Daylon for taking their time to view my photos and answer questions.
