Kwikee Steps Will Not Lock Out After 1800709 Module Replacement
Updated 03/20/2019 | Published 03/19/2019 >
Question:
My dealer installed this module and I am unable to lock the stair OUT when parked. It is linked to the door no matter the switch position. This is on a 2005 Monaco Camelot. It appears to be wired correctly. Is this the wrong module and if so, what is the correct module? Thank you

If you can provide me with the part number for the control module that you replaced the Kwikee Step Control Module 1800709 wish I could then verify for you if the correct replacement was used but without this information there would be no way to do so.
I spoke to my contact at Lippert about the issue you were having with the lockout not functioning and they stated that you need to test the 4-way plug on the unit which can be seen in the attached photo. I have also attached a photo of the wiring diagram that you will need to verify is correct before you begin your testing.
With all of that being said, if the dealer installed the module and it is not working correctly then you should take the trailer back to the that dealer.
