Question:
I am wanting to compare the Timbren TFF350SD4 and TFF350SD4B models. I see that there is a 600lb difference in support but what else is different? I have a 2004 f250 4wd short bed. It has a 6inch suspension lift and I have a heavy duty front bumper on the front that is 300lbs and is making my truck sag and I need something to support the front end. I also tow a gooseneck that is 5k lbs empty and occasionally can get to 12k, but averages 8k. Which would work best?

Timbren front axle kits # TFF350SD4 and # TFF350SD4B that fit the stock 2004 F-250 4WD are both considered standard capacity but part # TFF350SD4B does have slightly taller and stiffer springs. Otherwise they are essentially identical no-drill replacement bump stops.
But neither of these can work on your truck with 6-inch lift. No Timbren front axle kits are safe to use on a truck with 6-inches of suspension lift. I did call Timbren to confirm this is the case. It may be possible to install a rear kit but you will need to take some measurements and check with Timbren to see if they can come up with a suitable combination of springs and brackets that will span the gap between the axle and bumps stop mount. Body lifts are no problem with kits like these but suspension lifts mean stock kits often will not work.
To compensate for the weight of your aftermarket bumper a lower-rated kit will do the job without making the ride too rough. I checked with AirLift and their 1000-lb-rated kit # AL80590 will work if you have stock coil springs that will take these 8 x 4-inch air bags. These will let you adjust stiffness to get you support without a harsh ride.
