Rated for a gross towing weight of 30,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 7,500 lbs, the Curt EZr Double Lock underbed gooseneck hitch is ready for serious work. The dual-pin locking system adds an extra layer of strength and keeps the 2-5/16" chrome-plated ball locked tight under heavy pull. Whether you’re hauling big trailers, livestock, or equipment, that solid connection gives you confidence every mile down the road.

When the trailer’s unhooked, flip the hitch ball over and store it upside down inside the hitch for a flat bed in minutes. The below-bed design keeps your truck bed clean and open for loading other gear without a bulky hitch in the way. A rubber cover drops over the ball hole to keep out dirt and grime while giving your bed a finished look.
Installing this hitch doesn’t require welding or bed removal, and Curt’s center locator tool makes it simple to line up the 4" bed hole right where it needs to be. Drill from underneath using the locator’s pilot hole, then cut from above until orange shavings appear—no tape measure required. The locator also acts as a trim shield to prevent over-drilling, taking the guesswork out of setup for a clean, accurate fit.

The comfort-grip handle can be mounted on either side of the bed for easy reach from the wheel well. Just pull to unlock, drop in the ball, and rotate to engage both locking pins for double security compared to a single-pin setup. Built-in spring-loaded chain hookups and zinc-plated hardware add durability and corrosion resistance for long-term reliability on every tow.

Went in well, works good, happy
Great hitch and easy to use. I did have to lift up the bed a little bit to install it. Took me about 5 hours because of that but otherwise it is a great hitch. The rings for the safety chains stay on the bed and the ball flips over and stows away completely.
I installed this hitch on my 2021 Silverado 2500HD. When first looking under the truck it appeared the exhaust would have to be modified to make the unit fit. The fact is this unit went in without any modifications at all…even all the factory drilled holes lined up perfectly. I recommend this hitch to anyone that has a stock exhaust system.
Nice clean look. Most importantly didn't have to lower exhaust. centering the hitch in the bed was easy because of the template provided. Although install did take longer than what was noted, it was fairly simple. Would definitely purchase again.
Excellent fit, install was about 3 hrs. Easy to follow instructions and customer service was a pleasure to deal with. Happy with my choice and would recommend this product.
I will say on a 6.5 bed with dual exhaust on my diesel is was snug fitting under the truck to bolt it together, but that’s a me problem not a curt problem. Fit and functionality was perfect no complaints at all.
Accurate install directions, fantastic fit and operates perfectly for my 5th wheel RV
Your installation instructions are lacking details weakest part of the product. Shipping could use work too box was destroyed and bolts were missing from the open package
Once hitch was in, and bolts replaced it towed fine
Fair priced and arrived before the due date.
Bolted right up, no problems at all.
Installed on my 2006 F350. Haven't towed with it yet, but construction appears solid and well designed. Installation was easy, but took longer than the 90 minutes advertised for a novice.
Shipping was great ,received in 2 days , wow. this was ordered for a friend. But my husband will definitely order from you .thank you for asking for what we think right away.
The trailer hitch was very well made and durable. It was delivered within two days. Unbelievable! The representative who assisted me was great. Price was right.
Install was straightforward and the hitch is working perfectly. I had my bed off when I installed, so the process was pretty simple. It would have been more difficult with the bed on, but that isn’t the fault of the hitch. The hitch has been reliable and sturdy, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another Curt from eTrailer!
The instructions that come with are horrible. But you go on Curt’s website and they have a very well put together video. Everything went together smoothly and hitch performs great.
Box got a little hammered in delivery but didn’t damage any of the parts.
hitch itself fit good, Didn't really like the mounting design though. Kit requires one big bolt and a u bolt "Are supplied" that holds it on truck. Seems it could be made more secure with better designed mounting brackets, but overall kit fit well and is working for what i need.
Installed on a 2002 Ford f250 short bed. this was very easy to install just as specified I chose to remove my 5inch exhaust to make for more room and easier install but it went in smooth and the exhaust went back in with around 1 inch of room to spare so not much modification.
The only problem that I have ran into is for some odd reason when I hook up our gooseneck trailer the tongue weight brings the suspension down enough that the side plates actually hit the u-bolt studs that hold the leaf springs to the axle. So idk what’s going on with that but not real happy about it I’m going to have to cut my u-bolts down some in order for it to be able to ride smoothly otherwise the bracket hits the u-bolts every time you hit a bump and it doesn’t sound pleasant at all. Not sure if it’s just this hitch or other ones that do it but the side plates have an edge that sticks out and it’s slamming off of the U-bolts.

Update 1 year later: I did end up cutting the tops of the u bolts off in order to make clearance for the trailer weight it does fine now. After about two months of that I chose to install air bags on my truck and haven’t had a problem with it since. My only recommendation is oil the pins that lock the ball in place I have noticed over time just road debris and dirt getting in there and it can sometimes have a little resistance going back in with the ball facing down. Other than that good product I would purchase it again.
Seems heavy duty but the brackets hit the u-bolts and spring top plates. Curt told me I must of installed them wrong. I don't think so

I contacted Curt and they said that there is something different about your truck. I looked through our previous reviews on the matter and came across a similar situation as yours where the brackets hit the U-bolts. One of our experts said that the suspension may be worn and sitting lower than normal causing the issue. The customer then replied a year later saying that he installed air bags on his truck and the problem was resolved. I would check your suspension and see if this would be your solution as well.

I spoke with the folks at Curt, and they were wondering if your truck had the original suspension. If the suspension on the truck is worn, it will sit lower and could cause the issue you describe.
