What Does Key Look Like that Replacement BOLT Lock Cylinder # BL709231 Fits

Question:

After adding the information for year and model Im shown a key that should fit. The key looks similar but if the key in the picture is actual size mine is a lot longer as is the barrel on the lock to my tailgate handle. And the tail on the end of the lock is crooked whereas the one on my truck is almost a 90 degree angle and Im not sure whether thats going to actually grab the lock when the key is turned or not

Thanks for the picture of the key you have! The Bolt Lock Cylinder part # BL692918 is a fit based on seeing that and knowing you have a 2002 Avalanche.
