Good Afternoon, My truck is preconfigured with 5th wheel capabilities, though I will need to purchase the appropriate 5th wheel hitch and all related components. The RV i will be getting is fitted with a MORRYDE obit hitch and the unit weighs in at 8500 lbs dry weight with a loaded capacity of 10K

Since the trailer you plan on purchasing features a rotating pin box you won't need a sliding hitch to obtain the necessary cab clearance during sharp turns. This is great news since a slider is more expensive than a fixed model, a lot heavier, and would require a bit more work on your part.
For your 2016 Nissan Titan XD with the factory puck system I highly recommend the fixed Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package - Slide Bar Jaw - 16K # C16515-16026. Keep in mind that you will need to use the wedge # C16991 to prevent pivot at the hitch.
This particular hitch is designed to drop right into those factory pucks on your Titan XD so you don't need an additional adapter. When the hitch is removed you will be left with a completely clean truck bed. It features a 16,000 pound towing capacity to give you a comfortable safety margin with your 10,000 pound loaded trailer.
