Do CargoSmart Shelf Track Brackets have a Weight Rating

What is the weight rating or how much weight will the “pair “ hold before they would pop out of the tracking or bend???

Expert Reply:
I reached out to a representative of CargoSmart who told me the CargoSmart Shelf Track Brackets # 3481726 do not have a specific weight rating because there are so many variables in regards to how many brackets you are using, how far apart they are mounted and how the E-Track or X-Track system is mounted. I was told that if it was something relatively light, in the neighborhood of 100 lbs there would not be any type of issue but putting a specific rating on the Shelf Track Brackets # 3481726 was not feasible.
To use these shelves you will need a 12" deep wood top and they will mount to CargoTrack X-Track (so named because it can be mounted horizontally or vertically) such as the 2' long # 3481769 (Zinc Plated) or # 3481787 (Matte Black) or the 5' long # 3481770 (Zinc Plated) or # 3481788 (Matte Black).
