Question:

I want to mount a smart battery box with a marine/rv group 27 battery in it in this permanently. Itll be around 52 pounds in all. Will it hold it up during travel?

The Brophy Utility Shelf for E-Track - 18" Wide x 10" Deep - Black # ETLSB is not rated for a certain weight, so I wouldn't trust it for your 52 lbs when traveling. Instead I recommend using the CargoSmart Shelf Brackets for E-Track or X-Track Systems - 12" Deep - 1,000 lbs - Qty 2 # 3481726 which are sturdy brackets to make a shelf compatible. This will easily hold your battery and smart box during travel. I've attached some videos to assist.
