Question:
Are the nuts provider in this kit lock nuts?

Expert Reply:
The E-Z Flex Triple Axle Suspension Kit part # K71-657-00 comes with both flange nuts part # 006-092-01 and lock nuts part # 006-007-01. The flange nuts which are essentially a nut that has an integrated washer that reduces the chance of loosening because the clamping force is more evenly distributed around the nut are used on all of the wet bolts whereas the lock nuts are used on the standard bolts. The wet bolts are used to connect the leaf springs to the equalizers whereas the standard bolts are used to connect the equalizers to the hangers.
The nuts are all 7/16"-20 so if you want to swap them out with something different like a nyloc nut you can do so though it is not needed.
