Question:
I want to replace surge brake system with Electric. The bearing numbers are L44649 and L68148, the current pattern is 5 on 4 1/2, I want go 5 on 5. Looking for the part numbers for backing plate and hub drum assembly. Is AKHD-545-35-EZ-K and AKHD-550-35-K interchangeable?

Expert Reply:
Both hubs you mentioned fit the same size spindle so they would be interchangeable, but since you want a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern the hub/drum you'd want is the part # AKHD-550-35-K actually.
