Which replacement pin box would you recommend for a Lippert 1716. I have a demco hijacker autoslider. Can you advise which adapter plate I will need. Thank You

I highly recommend going with a 5th Airborne pin box over the MorRyde mainly because other customers have said that they like the way the 5th Airborne rides over the MorRyde. The 5th Airborne is a premium pin box that greatly increases the ride quality of your trailer by using the shock and air spring for a smoother ride.

This is compatible with your Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch # DM8550024 when used with the Locking Plate # DM6026.

The 5th Airborne pin boxes are pin box specific though so I will need to know either your pin box number or the mounting hole locations and pin box width to determine the correct replacement for you. Attached is a sample installation video of the 5th Airborne # 5AB-E1621-610 for you to reference. This replaces the following pin boxes:

Fabex 665
Lippert 1621 and 1621HD
M&M 665

Thank you for the info! The correct 5th Airborne Premium Fifth Wheel Air Ride Coupler for your Lippert 1716 pin box is part # 5AB-E510-710 on our site. Just be sure to use the Locking Plate # DM6026 and it will work perfectly with your Demco Hijacker Autoslide!
