How Many Urethane Bumpers are Used for Demco 5th Wheel Hitches

Question:

I have a Demco autoslider premier hitch in my truck. It has one of the plastic ,blue bumper pads. Should it have two?

There should only be 1 Urethane Bumper # DM15469 under the head unit of your Demco 5th wheel hitch. There are 2 bumpers under the yoke that the head sits in though which I think is where the confusion comes in.

I am attaching some photos that my contact at Demco sent me. The 5th wheel hitch in the photo is their Recon hitch but the bumpers apply to all of the Demco 5th wheel hitches.
