While there isn't a fifth wheel hitch with a 40,000 lb to 50,000 lb capacity there is something close. I highly recommend the Reese Low-Profile 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30054 which has a 30,000 lb capacity - this is the largest capacity fifth wheel hitch for your 2018 Ram 5500 cab and chassis.
