Can the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit be Used on Slipper Springs

7k dexter tandem axle gooseneck with slipper springs will this work?

The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit part # K71-385-00 can be used on a trailer with slipper springs however, the new spring seat would need to be welded to the axle as opposed to bolted. Also, if your leaf springs are greater than 1-3/4" wide then a new u-bolt plate like part # TRTP300200 would be needed or you could make your own.
