Replacement Latch Lock Options for 1993 Enclosed Cargo Trailer

Question:
I have a 1993 I think Wells Cargo trailer. The latch opening is 4.5H x 6.5W x 1D. Can you help find a replacement?

We do not have a direct replacement for the size latch you have on your trailer. The Paddle Handle Locking Latch w/ Release - 5-1/2" Long x 4-1/4" Wide - Steel # PLR5115 for a 4-5/8" long x 3-3/8" cutout is the largest latch we carry. With some custom fabrication you can retro-fit your trailer to make this work but that 4.5 x 6.5 inch cutout is not a standard size.
