Is Adarac Truck Bed Ladder Rack A70450 500-lb Load Rating a Dynamic Rating

Question:
Do you know the dynamic/ static load capacity for the adarac rack for an 2018 ram 1500 short bed? I am assuming the 500 pounds is dynamic. I am planning on putting a roof top tent on top of the rack which weighs roughly 120 pounds but want to make sure I can off road / go through overland trips without the rack breaking. Thank you

Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A70450 which fits your 2018 ram 1500 with 5-1/2-foot bed does have a total rated weight capacity of 500-lbs. This means each bar can handle 250-lbs when that load is evenly distributed across the bar. My contact at Adarac confirmed this weight capacity is retained under dynamic conditions.
