Question:
I installed dual face LED trailer lights on my trailer. It is three wire set up. White is ground, black to brown and red wire to yellow. when I power up running lights the left side amber facing front comes on with the side marker and red rear facing tail side. The right side works correctly and amber side is off. I have double checked wires and dont see any issues.

The Optronics Dual-Face LED Stop/Turn/Tail/Parking Light # STL53ARPB referenced in your question does indeed feature 3 wires - white for ground, red for stop/turn, and black for tail/running lights. It sounds like you have hooked everything up correctly.
The issue with your particular lights actually appears to be on the right side where the amber light is not turning on at all with the running lights activated. The amber light on this unit serves as both the rear turn signal and parking/running lights so it should come on with the running lights. It will just become brighter when you use your turn signals.
If just the amber light is not working on one side of your trailer you can first try checking the ground wire to make sure it is securely attached to clean, bare metal surface on the trailer. A weak ground can cause all kinds of strange things to happen.
If the ground looks good I recommend testing the light by itself by applying 12V power directly to the wiring just to make sure it is working correctly. When applying power to the wiring the amber light should come on. If it does not then the light itself is likely damaged and will need to be replaced. These LEDs do come with a limited lifetime warranty.
Please let me know what you find and we can go from there!
