Question:
Towing with goose box. I have a 16 ram mega dually and a bandw turnover. I tow a 18 chaparral 392mbl. As you know you can’t get a long bed with the mega cab, I was wondering if I need an off set ball? I was also wondering if you can have passengers in the trailer? as now you do not have a 5er hitch but a gooseneck hitch.

The gooseneck adapter pin box like # RP85FR does not change the passenger laws, which are different from state to state. In a quick search, 21 states allow passengers and the trailer has to have exits in case of emergency which your trailer has.
For your 2016 Ram with short box, the 4 inch offset # BWGNXA4085 is recommended to increase your turning clearance.
