Lippert 3.0 Ground Control Replacement Remote and App Connection Restriction

Question:

Can a Lippert 3.0 ground control remote be replaced with an android app/phone/tablet? Is additional equipment required? I would rather go with an app on the phone vs. getting another remote. Its hard to keep up with another device.

The Replacement Touchscreen Remote w/ Charger for Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric Leveling System # LC358601 is designed only for this purpose, but if you want to use the phone/tablet app, you can do so. The app requires a PIN that you used to initially set up the other remote.

The new physical remote would allow you to reset the PIN so Lippert makes sure you are protected from anyone downloading the app and having access to the leveling on your trailer.

My remote control for my levelers and slide out on my Keystone cougar where you plug it in broke. Is there a way of using my iPhone? Is there an app that I could go to and control my slide out and the levelers?

@Glenn If you want to use the phone/tablet app, you can do so. The app requires a PIN that you used to initially set up the other remote. If you don't know your pin you would need a working remote to reset it.
