Question:
2017 Equinox AWD V6 My first choice is the Draw-Tite Max Frame Class 111 - 2 I prefer an US made product. There is not any information where this hitch is made. I also need the flat connector wiring. The car does not have a factory towing kit. I have the Ball and tounge.

For a trailer hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Chevrolet Equinox and is made in the USA, I recommend the Trailer Hitch Receiver part # E98865. This hitch has a class III rating with a 2" receiver tube opening. It also has a weight capacity that exceeds your vehicle's rating so there will be no need for something with a higher rating.
For a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118494 for two reasons. The first reason is that it is a custom fit that won't require any spicing. The second reason is that is has a converter box which won't draw any power from the vehicles lighting circuit therefore minimizing the chance of an overload.
I have attached an install video of the trailer hitch and wiring harness for you as well.
