Does Curt Hitch for 2016 Honda Accord Require Using Stabilizer Strap with Bike Rack

Question:

Curt requires a strap with the use of a bike rack on its hitch for my 2016 Honda Accord. I want to buy a Kuat Transfer 2 bike rack. This is a tray style rack with no center post or any obvious way to make use of the strap. Suggestions for installation and use of the strap for bike racks of this style? Thanks

The great thing about the Curt bike strap recommendation is that they've lightened their stance on it here lately and instead of it being a requirement they now only recommend it. So if you have a Curt hitch installed on your 2016 Honda Accord like the # C11681 and want to use the Kuat Transfer part # KU74FR you don't have to get creative to come up with a way to use the strap.
