Question:
I want to purchase a Sterling tow bar, but will not be using the quick disconnect option. I have base plates on my Z71 2010 Chevrolet Colorado that do not require the cross bar. I bought them from you earlier this year, and I think they are type MX. I want to purchase new straight safety cables and use the cable guides on the tow bar. My question is, what length safety cables do i need? Thank you,

Helpful Expert Reply:
For the Roadmaster Sterling Tow Bar the recommended length for replacement safety cables is 80 inches. Roadmaster lists the coiled cables part # RM-674 which are coiled only for a small portion of the cable and are straight for the rest of it.
