Troubleshooting Brake Controller that Blows Fuse When Using Manual Override

Question:
hook controller up 04 chevy 1500 when holding manual to the left keep blowing fues wired hot wire into fues panel with fues able link I pusched new wireing harness.

It sounds like the manual override on your Tekonsha Primus IQ Brake Controller # TK90160 is blowing a fuse on your Chevy truck. If this is the case, then there is likely a short somewhere on the wiring that is causing a spike in voltage when you use the override slide. Since you used the Plug-In Adapter # 3015-P to install the controller, I recommend unplugging the unit and checking for any bent pins inside both the adapter and the factory port on your truck. Make sure the factory connector is free of any debris or dirt that might have worked its way in. Also inspect the factory wiring for any exposed or damages sections that might be causing the short, replacing as needed.
