Question:
Im considering using your Erickson Etracks on the floor of my open car trailer. I have 2 vehicle I need to transport from time to time, weighing roughly 4k lbs max. It is a wood plank floor, I will be replacing the wood as well. They are 2x12 planks. 16 bed. There are numerous heavy steel cross beams underneath I can bolt to, and can add more if needed. Do you see any complication or concerns with this setup as far as the Etrack strength? I would also be using the Erickson wheel nets on all 4 corners.

Expert Reply:
So long as the wooden planks are securely attached to the steel cross beams I see no reason as to why the Erickson Horizontal E-Track part # EM59150 with the Erickson Adjustable Wheel Net part # 77314 would not work for you. However, if you are concerned with strength then you can always add a backing plate to the back of the planks with the E-Track Backing Plate part # e96RR.
I have attached review videos for you as well.
