Question:
Will the Draw Tite Hi-Rise adapter mount securely to a Draw Tite 8339 hitch installed in a 2008 Ford F350 long bed truck? I am assuming the two would be compatible being the same brand?

Since you have the Fold-Down Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 8339-4449 there actually isn't a way for the Hi-Rise # 9480 to secure to the gooseneck hitch since it sits down in the coupler section of the gooseneck hitch.
To use the Hi-Rise you will need to swap out the top part of your gooseneck hitch with part # 9460 which allows you to remove the hitch ball. If you went this route then you also need replacement mounting hardware # 58320 since the hardware is only meant to be torqued once.
We do have other options that let you tow a 5th wheel hitch with your current gooseneck hitch. The Demco Recon # DM8550045 attached directly to the hitch ball and has a 5th wheel hitch head while the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G changes the king pin on your pin box so that you can connect to your gooseneck ball.
