Question:
wondering if this rail is correct for my trailer. i have a shasta m235-b 5th wheel trailer. weight specs i found says 4755 lbs. is that tongue weight? i chose a bar system rated for 5000 lbs. is this rail system correct? and should i get a swivel head for clearance while im turning due to the shorter bed size? kinda new to a 5th wheel.

From what I found, your Shasta M235-RB is 24 feet long, 7 foot 9 inches wide, has tandem axles and is 4,955 lbs but without the year that will be just a pretty close estimate.
It is enough information to know that it is a very lightweight trailer and with your 2007 Ford F-150 with 6.5 foot bed, we can make sure your sliding hitch recommendation will work without going too overboard because you don't need a high capacity hitch.
My recommendation for you is the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50081-58 which is a custom bracket kit so no drilling in the frame is necessary and then use the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Round Tube Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # RP30075. You can alternatively use the rail kit # RP30035-426 but it will require much more time and measuring for the correct fit. You may also be interested in the 5th wheel wiring harness # 50-97-410 for a clean look and easy connection.
Since you are new to 5th wheel towing, I've attached some articles to assist.
