I recommend taking a look at the Curt Dual Length Ball Mount # C45230 for your application. This ball mount features a 3-5/8 inch drop but also has two separate pin holes that let you change the length of the shank so you can get a bit more extension. When using the second hitch pin hole, there is a distance of 11-1/8 inches from the center of the pin hole to the center of the hitch ball hole. The ball mount has a weight capacity of 7,500 pounds and a ball hole diameter of 1 inch.
For a 2 inch hitch ball you can use # 40038 or for a 1-7/8 inch ball you can use # C40017.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this ball mount that you can also check out.
