Air bags or sumo springs for 2016 Jayco precept 31ul f53 Ford 18000 Chassis?

Expert Reply:
For your 2016 Jayco RV built on the Ford F-53 chassis, I recommend going with the SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs over an air bag kit. These springs will provide you with excellent support to level your ride and minimize any sway that you are experiencing. Unlike air bags that you will have to inflate and deflate depending on your load (along with making sure they stay at the minimum inflation level during the off season), the SumoSprings can be pretty much left alone after the initial installation. They will attach to both the top and bottom of the frame for constant support and a smooth ride.
For your RV that has an 18,000 pound GVWR, I recommend the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-184-40-1 for the rear axle and # SSF-170-40-2 for the front axle. I have attached a couple short video demonstrations on these systems that you can check out, along with the written installation instructions for you to review. Each kit will include the necessary hardware for installation.
