Question:

Will this item fit a Fastway E series adjustable ball mount? Mine came with a 2inch and a 2 5/16 and need a 1.875 The reason I ask is Fastway says they do not make a dual sided 2 and 1.875. Replacement Chrome Double Ball for Fastway and Diversi-Tech Ball Mounts - 1-7/8inch and 2inch - DTBM23

Yes, the Replacement Chrome Double Ball # DTBM23 referenced in your question will fit your Fastway Flash E Series Ball Mount like the part # FA42-00-2600. This will provide you with the 1-7/8 inch ball you are needing, along with a 2 inch ball on the other side.

To replace the existing double ball set on your ball mount, you will just need to loosen the hex bolt that holds the ball platform to the ball mount (using the hex adjustment tool # DTBM26), and then slide the platform off the mount. Then run the hex bolt that holds the balls in the platform all the way in so that you can slide out the old/existing double ball set.
