Is there specs on where to mount fifth wheel rail in a 2017 Ram 2500 6 1/2 bed?

For your 2017 Ram 2500 short bed you'd want to use a custom install fifth wheel rail kit part # RP50054-58 to install rails in the bed of your truck. To place the rear rail you'll need measure 26-1/4 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed to the rear edge of the rail like in the picture I attached.

To place the front rails you'll use the fifth wheel hitch you have. You'll set the hitch into the rear rails placed where they need to be and then put the front rail under the hitches front mounting tabs and it will be placed perfectly.
