Question:
I want to replace the vent in my travel trailer with this product. The current vent has no motorized fan. Just a vent. This product should fit the footprint of the opening. How do I find more information about hooking up the wiring? It could probably be hooked up through the lighting. However, I want to be able to operate it when the ceiling lights in the trailer are off. My trailer is a 2017 Palomino Real-Lite 178S. Thanks.

The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Reversible # FV801250 will fit in the same opening as your current vent as they are industry standard size. I recommend using the Installation Kit # 344270KITW to install and seal your vent.
You can run wires directly to your trailer battery or into the same circuit breaker as your lights using # 16-1-1. That will allow you to use your fan and have the lights off versus just splicing into the light power. The motor will draw 36 watts and the amperage will change with the fan speed. On low it will draw 1.86 amps, on medium 2.29 amps, and on high 3 amps.
