Speed Rating of the Kenda Tire and Wheel 4.80/4.00-8 on a 8 Inch Wheel

Question:

What is the speed rating on this tire and wheel set-up? I read that the load range B version was 62mph in someone elses question, is the load range C tire the same? And is this the maximum speed or maximum sustainable speed? Thanks

Unless otherwise stated all specialty trailer tires are rated at 65 miles per hour. This is the max miles per hour this tire can sustain due to the excess heat build up that will occur if you go any faster. I would not recommend exceeding that speed for any length of time.
