Repair Kit for Shelby Coupler Availability

Question:
I have a Shelby 5128 coupler with 1-7/8inch ball and 1-3/4inch channel. It looks like the CT-2000-RK but that will not fit. The coupler has V5CLI and 200 pound tongue weight listed on the coupler. Trailer is a 1989 model. I would buy a new coupler however would prefer to get a repair kit so I dont have to cut the coupler off. If no repair kit is available, please recommend a coupler.

There is not a repair kit we carry for Shelby couplers so you will need a new one. Our couplers are designed to fit channel tongues that are a minimum of 2" wide so you would need to use a pair of steel shims for Coupler # CT-2001-Z, which works with a 1-7/8" hitch ball and has a 2000 lb capacity.
